Since an early age, David has been fascinated by art and antiques. At the age of 18, he started working full-time within the art and antique business.
David soon made a name for himself in the antiques world due to his appointment as one of the youngest directors of a UK PLC company. The company specialised in importing rubberwood antique-style furniture from the Far East.
Throughout his career, David has shipped antiques across the Atlantic, owned antique restoration businesses, exhibited at international art and antique fairs and brokered the sales of some very valuable collections.
David still handles the sales of antiques on behalf of clients, although most of his time is taken up with events and filming.
When David is not filming or working in the business, you’ll probably find him painting!
A recognised artist, David’s work hangs in homes around the world from California to Australia and is sold in several prestigious galleries in the UK.
In 2016, David was a contestant on BBC One’s ‘Celebrity Masterchef’, just missing out on a place in the semi-finals to Audley Harrison.
He also writes art and antique articles for magazines and newspapers and is often called upon to discuss related issues on national TV and radio.
