Nutrition and Immunity speech:
- What is your ‘immune system’?
- Which nutrients does it depend on to work optimally?
- How likely are you to be low in any of these and how do we improve our intakes?
- What impact does body weight, age and inflammation have on immunity?
- Ultimately how can what we eat and drink improve resilience to infections?
Amanda will address these and other questions during a 30-minute presentation, which uses current, evidence-based information to help attendees comprehend the link between immunity and nutrition.
Including practical tips on how to put the information learnt into day-to-day action, employees will learn how to optimise their nutrition and immunity which in turn, impacts not just on their physical but also mental wellbeing in the months ahead.
Diet and Mental Wellbeing Speech:
Can what, when and how we eat affect:
- Levels of stress?
- Ability to focus and concentrate?
- The preventing and management of low mood?
- Help in the management of anxiety and depression?
- Improve energy levels?
- Encourage better sleep patterns?
- Affect hunger, appetite and thus body weight
Amanda will address these and other questions during a 30-minute presentation, which use evidence-based information and advice providing fascinating insights into how the foods and drinks we consume and when we do so impact profoundly and how we feel and function both in and outside of the workplace.
