The Boys are back in town, albeit a town down under…
The cast of the UK hit show SAS: Who Dares Wins has been filming a celebrity version of the Minnow Productions hit format for Channel 7 in Australia.
Following 2 weeks quarantined in Sydney, GPA exclusive client Billy Billingham MBE joined Ollie Ollerton, Jason Fox and Chief Instructor Ant Middleton to film the new TV series ‘SAS Australia’.
Filmed in the snowy mountains of Australia – yes, ‘snowy‘ and ‘Australia‘, two words not often mentioned in the same sentence – the former Special Forces operators are putting a group of Aussie celebrities through elements based on SAS selection process.
Confirmed celebrities include:
- Schapelle Corby – Convicted Drug Smuggler
- Merrick Watts – Comedian & Broadcaster
- Roxy Jacenko – PR Queen
- Nick Cummins – Former Rugby Player

These famous and infamous Australians have volunteered for the Special Forces selection course, a brutal and unforgiving process that will physically and mentally break down the recruits in a test of their true character.
SAS Australia is not a game. There is no winner; there is no prize. Most recruits will reach their breaking point and withdraw. Who has what it takes to tough it out to the end?
As TV’s most experienced and decorated SAS leader, DS Billy will offer the celebrity recruits expert instruction and advice, sprinkled with some tough love.
Based on the UK Channel 4 series, SAS Who Dares Wins Australia will premiere on Channel 7 in October.
