Amber Sandhu is a fresh and emerging broadcaster who works for the BBC Asian Network, Sky Sports, and BBC Sport.
Wolverhampton-born and bred sports fanatic Amber got her big break covering the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games for BBC Midlands Today.
Before that, the sports science graduate and keen footballer and cricketer had been working on BBC West Midland radio and as a digital presenter for BBC Sport, where she fronted the channel’s WSL and cricket social clips.
Following the Commonwealth Games, Amber was scouted by Sky Sports to cover Aston Villa and her beloved Wolverhampton Wanderers – from press conferences and manager interviews to pitchside reporting for Sky Sports News.
An experienced radio broadcaster, Amber Sandhu also works on BBC Asian Network. She has hosted her own Saturday 3-6 p.m. show since 2022 and regularly covers the news-based Drive show Monday through Thursday 3-6 p.m.
Alongside a passion for men’s and women’s football, Amber has also reported live from ICC men’s and women’s cricket and hosted sit-down player interviews across The Hundred for BBC Sport.
A popular corporate host and presenter, Amber Sandhu has already hosted several high-profile events in 2025, including the West Midlands Tourism Awards, UK Paid Media Awards, and events for the FA and Westfield.
