Jake Humphrey is a television presenter, podcaster, author and business leader.
Jake is one of the most respected sports broadcasters in the UK.
Having joined CBBC in 2001, by 2005, he was hosting Sportsround, covering major international sporting events such as:
- 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne
- The World Cup from Germany
- The Cricket World Cup from Antigua
In 2006, he also started working with BBC Sport, presenting Football Focus and Final Score and becoming the youngest-ever host of Match of the Day.
In 2009, he became the face of the BBC’s highly successful and award-winning F1 coverage, where he remained for four years.
He hosted the 2012 Euros and the London Olympics during his final year with BBC Sport.
Jake joined BT Sport at the start of the 2013/2014 season as the face of BT Sports Premier League coverage. He went on to front their Champions League fixtures until 2023, covering Champions League games and finals.
In 2011, he co-founded Whisper, one of Europe’s fastest-growing independent production companies with over 100 staff. He remains heavily involved in growing the business.
